Precision Legal Nurse Consulting, PLLC was founded by Marlissa Esquivel, a board-certified Registered Nurse from Houston, Texas. Marlissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Prairie View A& M University, and will earn her Master of Science in Nursing Administration in Spring of 2022.
Marlissa has a diverse range of experience in Nurse Management, Intermediate Care, Urgent Care, and Medical-Surgical Nursing. Marlissa’s journey to legal nurse consulting was unique in that she was introduced to the role several years ago by an attorney who she contacted after her mother suffered a traumatic brain injury after sustaining a hospital fall. She put hours into analyzing her mother’s medical records for deviations from standards of care, and reported those findings to her attorney.
Working in close collaboration with the attorney, they were able to evaluate and present a case that indeed demonstrated negligence thus resulting in granting of a settlement, and most importantly, justice for her mother.
It was at that point that she knew she found a new passion in helping bridge the gap between healthcare and law. Our primary goal at Precision Legal Nurse Consulting, PLLC is to assist attorneys and their clients in receiving the justice they deserve in cases involving: personal injury, mass torts, workplace injuries, product liability, traumatic injuries, medical malpractice, and medical negligence.
